All Blackwood Model -The characteristic of the blackwood is similar to the mixture of several tonewoods. Rich low-end of mahogany, the brightness of maple and the ideal overtone of rosewood. Blackwood is good for both strumming and fingering, and better if used for soundboard. OM Cutaway Body Shape -The OM’s compact size is ideal for players with a small body frame or seeking playing comfort. The bright and stronger high-midrange emphasis is more suited for finger picking than strumming which often requires more low-end. The Venetian cutaway on this model allows easy access to the high frets. Fishman Sonitone -Installed internally without cutting out any of the woods, the Sonitone EQ system retains all the natural resonance and the pure acoustic sound that other systems can’t.
