The rear-view system for your Ford
Get a handle on visibility in your Ford with Brandmotion’s FVMR-1181 rear-view video system. It’s a solid way to seamlessly integrate a dash cam and rear-view camera into select 2015-up Ford pickups. The system includes a replacement rear-view mirror with a full-screen video display and built-in dash cam, as well as a Ford-specific camera that mounts in your 3rd brake light location.
You’ll have a record of what you see, too. The system’s 2-channel DVR records footage from the rear camera and integrated dash cam to the included 32 GB memory card. It will even automatically turn on when the truck is off if it detects an impact.
Multiple rear views
Brandmotion’s rear-view camera offers two views – you can look down into the truck bed to monitor your cargo, or choose a higher view so you can look over a towed boat or small trailer. Changing the view only takes a swipe of your finger. The camera provides a 170-degree wide-angle coverage that ensures you have an expansive view as you negotiate lane-changing and more.
More than a mirror
The FullVUE monitor makes a proper replacement mirror with auto-dimming for day and night driving, in addition to the full-screen 9.66″ HD view of the video feed. Touchscreen control gives you access to Brandmotion’s menus and built-in DVR. A universal D-tab wedge mount is included for easy mounting over the factory windshield mount. All wiring harnesses are also included.
Installation Note: Installation will require running the supplied video and power harnesses. If you have not attempted this kind of job before, professional installation is recommended.
Important Note: This Brandmotion system is not compatible with 2015-2023 Ford Raptor F-150 trucks.
